1. Clear labelling
Paid partnerships, sponsored posts, gifted products and affiliate links should be disclosed clearly and close to the relevant recommendation. Labels should be easy to notice and understand, not hidden in a footer or behind a link.
2. Affiliate links
If a link may earn the site a commission, say so before or near the link. A commission should not be presented as evidence that a product is objectively best, and editorial recommendations should remain honest and relevant.
3. Sponsored content
Sponsored articles and brand collaborations should be labelled. The nature of the relationship should be described accurately. Do not publish invented reviews, fabricated endorsements or testimonials.
4. Display advertising
If display ads are introduced, they may be supplied by third-party networks. Ad availability, targeting and provider policies can change. Advertising should not obscure recipe instructions, imitate navigation or make the site difficult to use.
5. Editorial independence
Commercial relationships should not justify false claims about ingredients, equipment, health outcomes or product performance. Material claims should be supportable and any limitations disclosed.
6. Personalisation and consent
Where advertising technology processes personal data or uses non-essential cookies, the operator must provide required notices and obtain consent where applicable. See the Privacy Policy and Data Policy.
7. Third-party responsibility
Advertisers and linked retailers are responsible for their own products, claims, offers and policies. Readers should review the terms and details provided by the third party before making a purchase.
8. Questions
Add a verified contact channel for advertising, affiliate and editorial enquiries before launch.
